Choose How to Vote

This year, there are two ways to vote: in person or by mail. You can decide which is safest and most convenient for you.

Vote in person:

  • Go to your designated polling place and vote in person between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day 鈥� Tuesday, November 3, 2026. .
  • If you are voting at this polling place for the first time, you will need to show ID.
  • Acceptable photo ID includes: a Pennsylvania driver鈥檚 license or PennDOT ID card, U.S. passport or government ID, U.S. Armed Forces ID, student or employee photo ID.
  • Acceptable non-photo ID must include the voter鈥檚 name and address, such as a confirmation issued by your county鈥檚 Voter Registration Office, ID issued by Pennsylvania or the U.S. government, a firearms permit, government check, or current utility bill, bank statement of paycheck.

Vote by mail:

  • The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is October 27, 2026.
  • When your ballot arrives, fill it out carefully, following the instructions; place your ballot in the secrecy envelope, then put the secrecy envelope in the official envelope. Be sure to sign the declaration, or your ballot may not count.
